7-15 yaş arası çocukların kitap okuma alışkanlıklarını edinirken sanatın eğlendiren, bakış açılarını çeşitlendiren ve kalıcılığı sağlayan yönünden faydalanmalarını hedefleyen bir projedir. Çocuklar seçilen kitapları okumakla yetinmeyecekler o kitabı resim, drama, müzik, dans, üç boyutlu çalışmalar gibi çeşitli sanat dalları ile irdeleyeceklerdir. Böylece kitap okuma düşüncesi onlar için keyifli zaman geçirme anlamı kazanırken ileriki dönemlerde de bu alışkanlığı kendi doğal yaşamının bir parçası haline getirebilecektir.

Bu proje ile öğrencilerimiz kitap okuma alışkanlığını edinirken yaş gruplarına uygun çeşitli sanat dallarından yararlanacaklardır. Sanatın estetik algıyı geliştiren ve haz veren yönünü kullanarak okuma alışkanlığının onlarda kalıcı hale gelebilmesini hedefliyoruz.

Projemiz 7-15 yaş öğrencilerini kapsamaktadır. Her ay belirlenen bir temaya göre seçilen bir kitap ile bir sanat dalı arasında ilişkilendirme yapılacaktır. Öğrenciler o ayın kitabını okuyacak ve o aya ait sanat dalını kullanarak kitabı istediği şekilde hayal gücünü ve çıkarımlarını kullanarak yorumlayacaklardır. Ayrıca her ayın sonunda ortaklar aralarında okudukları kitapları dönüşümlü olarak değiş-tokuş ederek paylaşımda bulunacaklardır.
Our project covers students 7-15 years old. An association will be made between a book selected according to a theme determined every month and an art branch. Students will read the book of that month and interpret it using the imagination and implications of the month using the art branch of that month.
